School Holiday dates

I would like to remind you that the school will be closed on Monday 1st May for the May Day bank holiday. The school will be open on Tuesday 2nd as usual.

Please be advised that the school will close for the half term break on Friday 26th May at 3.00pm. The school will reopen at 8.45am on Tuesday 6th June.

Healthy snacks for break

After a successful trial in year 4, pupils in all year groups will now be rewarded with special fruit chance cards for bringing in a healthy snack to be eaten at break time. Please support this school initiative by encouraging your child to bring in fruit and other healthy snacks instead of sweets and crisps.

School Meals

We have been informed that the cost of a school meal is now £2.10. There is a new school menu and for your convenience this has been printed on the back of this newsletter.

End of Key Stage 2 assessments

Pupils in year 6 have been working very hard towards their end of year 6 assessments which will take place on the week beginning the 8th May. It is important that the children are in school every day, on time and are ready to sit the assessments promptly. I thank you in advance for your support with this.
